Although we are "new" to the organic/local concepts, I have, so far, to agree with you on the grass vs. grain fed beef. We purchased all grass-fed beef once to fill our freezer. I am sorry to say it was the most tasteless beef we've ever eaten. I'm sure there are many variables in this scenario and we haven't ruled out all-grass fed, but the experience left us wanting a little more flavor!
